When you wish to discuss a particular issue with our Support Team, they may ask you for the Serial Number of the player in question so they can locate your device.
The easiest way to find the Serial Number is:
- Login to Signagelive
- Use the Dashboard information to find the player that’s experiencing the issue
- The Serial Number can be found under the Player column on the far left.
If you don’t have access to the Signagelive Dashboard, then there are other ways to locate your Serial Number which have been outlined below:
Samsung
- First, please ensure that Signagelive is running (if not, then Press home, Select URL Launcher)
- To locate your Serial Number Press the Info button
LG webOS
- First, please ensure that Signagelive is running.
- Press the Yellow button at the bottom of your remote.
BrightSign
- Please ensure that Signagelive is running (you may need to check the HDMI connection or change the input source on your display.
- Connect a keyboard to your BrightSign device
- Press Ctrl + I to show the Serial Number
PC (Electron & Legacy)
Legacy
- Connect a Keyboard.
- Press the Windows Key + R to open the Run module
- Type in ‘regedit’
- Click on HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > Remote Media > SignController > Find the SerialNo field
- You should now see the Serial Number displayed.
Electron
- Connect a keyboard
- Launch Signagelive
- Press Ctrl + I
- Make a note of the Signagelive serial number there.
MacOS
- Ensure the Signagelive app is running
- Connect a keyboard
- Press Ctrl + I
- Make a note of the Signagelive Serial number.
If you find your information bar does not appear, please contact support for the alternative route to identify this information and ensure you have installed a code editor to view the app files for the Signagelive app.
ChromeOS
- Ensure Signagelive is running
- Connect a keyboard
- Press Ctrl + Shift + 1
- Make a note of the Signagelive serial number.
IAdea
- Please ensure your IADea device is running
- Connect a mouse.
- Hold the clicker down for 10 seconds in any corner of the screen until the menu loads up.
- Click on Advanced in the top right > Select Information
- Make a note of the player Information
- Then you will need to contact the Signagelive support team to identify the corresponding Serial number.
Philips
- First, please ensure that Signagelive is running.
- Press the 0 button at the bottom of your remote.
